Garlic for Everyone!

I have finally made it through the USDA, FDA and Customs Agencies to be able to export our Garlic from Canada and import it to the States. YES!! So if you like Garlic and can’t get enough really high quality, tasty, well-storing and lovingly grown Garlic, we are there for you!
We can’t stop thinking about garlic! We are hoping that you can’t either. We had such a great year last year, and thanks to wonderful friends that made our season a success. (Many, many thanks to Victoria & Rasmus, Louise, Anne & Raymond, Bruno & Julie, Eugene, Zacherie, and Andrea!!)
Luck was on our hands (and in the Dirt) last year. The tractor still works and the barn (where we cure it) is still standing. The deer don’t like garlic, but they love everything else. Can you believe they dig carrots right out of the frozen ground? AnneBruce and I have been hibernating waiting to crawl on our hands and knees again for another season. My back is happy, my clothes are happy, but I do miss it.
Sadly to say (though not for us), we sold out our garlic last year, and many of you did not receive all that you had wished to order. This year we have almost tripled our planting and hope to have 12,000 bulbs. We are selling our beautiful Yugoslavian strain (Musik – yes, we know it is ironic) again this year.
We do not ship Garlic Flowers, but you are all welcome to come visit to get some. They will be available for a short period near the middle of July. Call to reserve a time to come up!
Since we are just 15 minutes from the US border, we will mail orders by USPS from Derby Line, Vermont. (see order form below)
Remember, there are 3 large or 4 medium heads of Garlic per pound, and if stored correctly, it will last through Spring.
Storing your Garlic:
In order to keep your Garlic through May or June, we recommend that you keep it away from the heat and out of the sun. It is happiest in a cool, dark and dry environment. Yes, you can keep it in the kitchen, but away from the stove and light. If you have a Garlic Pot on, or close to your stove, please store only one bulb in it and use within two weeks. Near the end of the storage time, if the Garlic seems like it is losing it's vitality or beginning to sprout, we peel it all, chop it in the food processor with a little Olive Oil, and freeze it in small canning jars. This makes it last as long as you would like and it is very easy to use.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Erich & AnneBruce
